Important news about SaidiaHolidayRentals - 5th September 2009

Greetings from sunny Med-Saidia.

The sky is blue, the sun is high and the sea is lapping the shore gently. The hordes of summer tourists have departed, and a calm has fallen once again on the Med-Saidia resort. Ramadan is plodding along, and surely is extremely difficult for those people observing, as the weather is still so very hot.

Well ... we have some very exciting news to share with you. By popular demand from so many people, Saidia Holiday Rentals has decided to venture into full property management on the resort.

Just in case you've been wondering why the 'blog's' have been slower than normal, we've been working hard on our fabulous new, improved website, which is now 'live', so please take a good look through and give us feedback. We think of it as being as much your website as it is ours. If there are things you would like to see more of or can see something that is obviously missing, please feel free to let us know. We go beyond having an open door policy - we operate an open mind policy. We look forward to assisting with all your requirements in Med-Saidia.

We are now able to offer you a full, professional, effective and quality-conscious service every step of the way.

This has been a tough decision to make, but at the end of the day, we've been through all the ups and downs of living on the resort for the past year. We now feel ready to share our knowledge and experience in helping you with a smoother progression. There is now no reason at all for people to struggle the way we did - there are pros and cons to being a pioneer in Morocco, let me tell you !

With the services of a person whose linguistic skills and local knowledge will help us to develop the French-, Spanish- and Arabic market, we will be able to work across more nationalities, which will generate more bookings. To date we have mainly been matching English-speaking landlords and tenants - this is now a thing of the past. By being able to broaden the language base we deal with, we can better serve landlords and tenants alike.

Being the first 'real' summer season for Med-Saidia resort, we found that we were overbooked in our rentable properties for the most popular dates. We estimate that we could have filled at least another fifteen accommodations if we'd had them available. The holiday maker numbers are bound to increase in the next few years. If the level of flights increase as we have seen in the past year into the region, and we receive some more direct flights from the UK and other destinations in Europe, there will be high demand for quality places to stay.

Finally, everyone can now benefit from a one stop shop for all Med-Saidia requirements. We have recently teamed up with other local contacts who have assisted many of you over the years, so we now have the skill-set and people-power to serve your needs. Thus you get a better service level for everything you may require or want. We look forward to seeing you in Saidia.

I look forward to meeting you to swap stories.
